La Tunisia festeggia oggi il primo anno dalle prime elezioni libere dalla caduta di Ben Ali. Molti non si sono nemmeno ricordati di questa giornata, molti hanno deciso di scendere nelle piazze. La mattinata era iniziata tranquilla fino poi le strade si sono riempite di gente, di studenti del liceo tutti in marcia verso Av. Habib Bourguiba, la strada principale di quasi tutte le città in Tunisia. A farne le spese questa volta il College. Lanci di pietre contro i vetri dell’istituto hanno seminato il panico tra gli studenti. Chiusi nelle classi con i professori mentre altri studenti scavalcavano il muro di cinta. Slogan urlati a gran voce fino all’evaquazione dell’istituto per evitare attacchi agli allievi. Tanta paura, qualche danno. Alla fine la manifestazione si è concentrata davanti alla sede dell’Ennahda e ancora una volta si è urlato “Degage”. Quello che ha sopreso in quesa giornata la totale assenza di polizia, forse presente nei grandi centri come Tunisi con l’esercito spiegato ma non nella provincia. Tra le chiacchere della gente la sensazione che il peggio deve ancora venire, che ad un giorno come questo doveva essere dedicata una giornata di festa, cosa che non è avvenuta. Del resto venerdi’ è il giorno dell’Aid, tutti sono molto impegnati nei preparativi. Gli agnelli da sacrificare si incontrano ovunque insieme a donne che portano grandi cesti di prezzemolo in equilibrio sulle loro teste. Delle elezioni ci siamo dimenticati, dei problemi e del futuro del paese possiamo aspettare lunedi’. Per ora l’importante è passare serenamente la festa.....
The Tunisia celebrates the first year from the first free elections since the fall of Ben Ali. Many don't even remember this day, many have decided to get in the streets. We forgot the electionst, problems and the future of the country thay can wait until Monday. For now the important thing is to pass peacefully the feast.
