Ricomincia la vita normale dopo i giorni di festa dell’Aid. Hanno sacrificato le pecore, l’aria si è riempita dell’odore della carne alla griglia, le famiglie hanno preparato “hasban” (salsicciotti fatti con le interiora riempiti di frattaglie prezzemolo e riso) , “gleia”(carne cotta nell’olio) e ghedid (carne seccata al sole). Continuano le visite per fare gli auguri e le donne raccontano i dettagli della festa. Si passerà molto tempo a discutere sul prezzemolo, sulle pecore, sul lavoro fatto. Ora si aspetta con impazienza il rientro dei pellegrini dalla Mecca, quei fortunati che hanno passato l’Aid in Arabia Saudita. Un pellegrinaggio obbligatorio per i mussulmani, molto costoso con rituali affascinanti. Ogni giorno è segnato da una tapppa che culmina con la preghiera nella piazza della Pietra Nera ma c’è anche la salita al Midan, la visita alla fossa del Diavolo dove si buttano le pietre e la fonte sacra della Mecca. Le famiglie aspettano il rientro dei loro cari e sarà un’altra occasione di visite e riunioni. Si mangeranno i datteri, il luben (gomma naturale), si berrà l’acqua portata dalla Mecca in piccoli bicchierini comprati per l’occasione e per finire la caramelle al caramello. Nel frattempo ci si scontra con la vita di tutti i giorni. Una settimana senza frutta nè verdura fresca, niente latte da settimane, il frigo dello yogurt nei negozi completamente vuoto, le bottiglie del gas riapparse solo ieri e già finite. Sono fasi che si ripetono ciclicamente, alle quali ci si abitua ma che spaventano. Sono piccoli segnali di una macchina che non funziona, di un meccanismo che si inceppa di continuo. Continuiamo a vivere alla giornata, sognado l’insalata che è uno dei beni piu’ rari in assoluto riservata agli alberghi e ai turisti, noi ci commuoiviamo ancora quando il camioncino del fruttivendolo porta una cassa di pere e pomodoro, le patate arriveranno forse domani.......
Normal life resumes after the holidays of Eid. SIRIA… 30 ottobre… ore 11:00… si intensificano I bombardamenti sulle città siriane. Fin dalle prime ore del mattino una vasta operazione militare sta interessando l’area di Damasco, Deir Ezzor e Homs. Si utilizzano in particolar modo aerei da guerra.
DEIR EZZOR: Mayadeen... i carri armati posizionati a Badiya stanno pesantemente bombardando la città.... scontri con l’esercito si registrano anche vicino al battaglione dell’artiglieria.... HOMS: elicotteri stanno sorvolando la zona... nei villaggi dell’area di Housh Hejo si registrano pesanti bombardamenti... sono caduti piu’ di 50 ordigni... molte case distrutte.... DAMASCO: 8 morti... la maggior parte donne e decine di feriti in seguito di violenti bombardamenti sui campi attorno a Hamouriah e Beit Sawa...

SIRIA…. 29 ottobre… ore 11 :00… Sono ripresi da questa mattina violenti i bombardamenti in tutte le regioni siriane. Bombardamenti indiscriminati colpiscono anche molte zone residenziali. Viene registrato anche l’utilizzo di armi non convenzionali come barili esplosivi e bombe a grappolo.
DAMASCO : Zamlka… molti feriti si registrano in seguito ad un pesante e continuo bombardamento su edifici residenziali… distrutte molte case civili.... ALEPPO: Kafr Al Hamra... ripreso un violento bombardamento con gli aerei sulla città..... HOMS.... colpito un quartiere occidentale della città... vengono usate bombe a grappolo... diversi feriti tra i quali anche tre bambini.... gli elicotteri continuano a sorvolare la zona.... DAMASCO- Almeno 10 vittime il bilancio di un'autobomba esplosa nel sobborgo di Jaramana abitato in maggioranza da drusi, a sud di Damasco. Tra le vittime ci sono donne e bambini. Il fumo provocato dall'esplosione è visibile fin dal centro della capitale, cinque chilometri più a nord. L'attentato è avvenuto intorno alle 11:30 ora locale (le 10:30 in Italia). Nei mesi scorsi decine di vittime sono state provocate dalle esplosioni di altre due autobomba a Jaramana. I Comitati locali di coordinamento (Lcc) dell'opposizione hanno detto che l'esplosione è avvenuta vicino a una stazione di polizia. La televisione di Stato ha mostrato immagini della distruzione causata su alcuni edifici vicini, alcuni con i muri sventrati, affermando che si è trattato dell'opera di terroristi....
DAMASCUS-At least 10 victims of the budget of a car bomb exploded in the suburb of Jaramana inhabited mostly by Druze, south of Damascus. Among the victims are women and children. The smoke caused by the explosion is visible even from the city center, five kilometers to the north. The attack took place around 11:30 local time (10:30 in Italy). In recent months, dozens of casualties were caused by the explosion of two car bombs in other Jaramana. The local committees of Coordination (LCC) opposition said the explosion occurred near a police station. State television showed images of the destruction caused on some nearby buildings, some with walls gutted, stating that it was the work of terrorists.
